When it is too wet for Jungle School the orangutan keepers will bring Siti and Sudin extra enrichment to keep them busy in their enclosure. Enrichment includes puzzle feeders, sugar cane and forest fruits. WebOrangutans are the largest animals to live mostly in the trees, spending more than 90 percent of their waking hours there. They are versatile climbers. They use all four limbs to climb, traveling by arm-swinging alone only over short distances. They rarely spring or jump.
